RecommendedSo very happy! Thank you, Myhanh T. Nguyen, M.D.! In two visits five weeks apart my vision has been restored. No more blurry eyes and it was a simple fix. I have to do a couple of things everyday and most certainly will. But she caught what other eye doctors did not. I don't have to go back for a year! But I know they will fit me if needed. Yes it's crowded and very busy but well worth the wait. Look at her credentials! Very nice and encouraging!

RecommendedI went to Florida Eye Clinic with a retinal detachment in my left eye and saw Dr Samantha Xavier. She and the practice went above and beyond trying to get my surgery scheduled as the anesthesiologists wouldn’t clear me due to a recent heart attack in October. Because of that I was finally able to get my surgery on 5/17/18 and just one week out am very pleased with my results. The staff was very kind and helpful and Dr Xavier was fantastic! It is a very busy practice and sometimes you need to wait to be seen but it is well worth the wait as they are excellent with their care. A+++!

RecommendedIn just two visits five weeks apart my vision is not blurry anymore. It was nothing serious and Myhanh T. Nguyen, M.D., at Lk Underhill, is so caring and friendly. I hope she never leaves! Take a look at her credentials. Yes they are very busy but I know they would give me an appointment right away if needed.

previous Doctor- Serious Infractions- Made an appt. Arrived 15 prior. After an hour and 45 minutes, I went to the desk an no one was to be found- I said "Hello", no one. Looked around the corner and 2 receptionists and the doctor were eating McDonalds in the side room. I said you know you have patients out here that have been here longer than I have and I have been here going on 2 hours now. (One gentleman was there with his 3 year old little girl said he had been there for over 3 hours.) I felt sorry for him. I am sure the little one was hungry and tired too. I said, normally when it is a full waiting room and you have patients going on 3 hour wait, you take turns eating and schedule accordingly, I asked if there was an emergency? They just looked at each other finally one said you are next, I said fine, they brought me to the exam room, I stood up and waited till someone came in. I could hear the Doctor talking with the patient about shopping. I was ready to leave. About that time I went to the doorway and saw the Dr. still talking with the patient leaning up against the doorway, she came out of the patients room and she came into the room I was in. She asked me to sit and started to come towards my eyes. Didn't ask any questions, just started for my eyes. I said you didn't wash your hands, she said I always wash my hands, I said I just saw you leave that patients room and come straight into here. ( I could smell the McDonalds food they had on her hands)Don't you usually wear gloves when putting your fingers to a patients eye? She said why don't we just look through the scope. Fine. I was now starting to wonder if this was a licensed , practicing physician? The exam took about 30 seconds and she said you have old eyes- I said what? Old eyes. Wait, the reason I am here is blurry vision and getting worse, glasses are a pain. She said nothing you can do, you have old eyes. I had had enough, I got up, told this Dr. that this was unacceptable, the lack of professionalism, the disregard for cleanliness and patient protocol, the unacceptable wait time while you eat and talk about personal issues. She didn't care. I went to the receptionist and they wanted cash only- I knew right then and there this place was not on the up and up. Too many things were not just inconvenient, but not legitimate, far past un-professional? Serious doubts. I did report this office. Update- I found out that was not the assigned Doctor for that location. I am not even sure she was a Doctor. Since then I went to a legitimate, professional ophthalmologist. I do not have "old eyes, " actually, I am a good candidate for Lasik and will be having both eyes done soon. If I had taken this so called Doctors words to heart, I would be half blind and afraid. To take the serious profession of healing and treat it and the patient with such disregard and carelessness is not just wrong, it is criminal. This happened awhile back and apparently there is a new Dr. there that according to this site has all incredibly high reviews. I don't know him, have not ever called or went back. But Please when going to any Dr. especially something as important as your eyes. Do ask, if something does not feel right, ask again. It is not okay to be treated that way, you do have rights and can speak up and out.

RecommendedEfficient and professional. I thought I had a tear in my retina so I called Florida Eye Clinic for an appointment. They were able to get me in within hours and were prepared to perform surgery if necessary. I got signed in and saw the doctor very quickly. Everyone was courteous, professional, and efficient. Thank goodness it was not what I thought it was. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them highly.

RecommendedDoctors are superb, tech staff great, phone service needs improvement Loved Dr. Shuster and Dr. Auerbach! Tech response is wonderful and they are very professional and kind. It's a very busy office and sometimes Dr. Auerbach seems rushed which makes me feel rushed. Also, getting someone on the phone is very difficult. All in all, I think it's a very good practice.

RecommendedVery pleased with the serviced I received I would highly recommended DR.THOMAS STEEDLE. I was experiencing Floaters.I called to make an appointment and they scheduled me right away to my surprise. Dr.Thomas STEEDLE was my treating doctor he gave me a complete eye examination and he explained each process after each stage of the testing as he completed them. He was very professional and very knowledgeable of the seriousness of seeing floater's he explained to me could possibly be a sign of a torn retina if not caught early could cause blindness he kept me comfortable looking in on me from time to time as each test was completed. I had no knowledge of the seriousness of my problem untill I got ready to leave! He said sir you are going to be just fine the floaters that you are seeing should go away in about 3 weeks are less and your eye sight should return to normal! Gosh was I relieved to here that and to think I almost didn’t go!
