RecommendedExcellent service Although their office is booked far out in advance, upon my appointment my overall experience was very pleasant. The front desk staff was very courteous and the doctor assistant Patricia was very detailed with collecting information to enter in the computer for my exam. I would recommend Dr. David Grubbs because of how thorough he was with my request to have a form completed for my surgery. Dr. Grubbs was polite and gave me additional information forms to read over regarding dry eye.

RecommendedTreated me with the professional, efficient, thorough and gentle care I needed. I am a 65 year old woman who experienced vision loss for the first time in my life. I was terrified . I found out from Dr. Wang that I needed cateract surgery in both eyes. Because she is such a thorough doctor, she performed more tests that also revealed that I had astigmatism . She educated me about my choices, about the costs ( upfront) , and taught me about the entire process, from beginning to end. I wanted the Cadillac lenses( I didn’t even care about the costs .. this is my vision and I would find a way to pay for this. However she was so honest with me and told me she didn’t recommend that for me due to my astigmatism . She said that I could probably find a doctor who would do that.. but it wouldn’t be her. I so appreciated her honesty and her concern about my long term results. I chose to get the lenses that would give me distance because I drive a lot and I watch my grandchildren in a lot of sporting and dancing events. That meant I would need reading glasses for close-up vision. Once we chose the procedure I was sent to Becky for further education. Dr. Wang and Becky answered all of my questions, and relieved most of my fears. ( I still felt anxious ). I could do one eye and a few weeks later the other. They taught me about all of the drops I would need before and after the surgery, and gave me very detailed papers explaining all of the steps in writing. And, with ALL of that I still had to call Becky for further questions and reassurance. She was very patient with me.. relieving more of my anxiety. When surgery day arrived I was very nervous. Everyone treated me with compassion.. but when Dr. Wang came to my bedside, I felt immediate trust and comfort. The whole procedure went beautifully and she was truly amazing. So comforting, happy and confident. I never felt any pain and I followed all of her directions. When it was around time for me to remove the gauze and eye patch I saw double vision. I was once again terrified , wanted to cry. As if on cue my Angel of a doctor called to check on me. Before I could even say it she said, “you might experience some double vision and this is completely normal . She saved me once again! I put on my patch and when I saw her very early the next morning my vision in that eye was almost perfect. The next appointment a week later.. it was 20/20 vision. Both eyes went the same. Dr. Wang loves what she does.. but I wonder if she knows the miraculous gift that she gave me. I can very clearly see the faces of my precious grandchildren and I can very clearly see my granddaughters on the soccer field, even when they are far away. If you need cateract surgery.. run, don’t walk to Dr. Wang. She and her team will give your life back to you.

After going to many eye doctors looking for help with my doble vision, Dr. Patino was the only doctor that gave me the correct prescription for my condition. I remember when I when to his office and told him my problem he smiled and said " Nancy, don't worry I'll take care of this". When I got my new glasses and when outside the office with them on, I started to cry. I could see so clear, No more doble vision. I felt my life was back. Thank you Dr. Patino. RecommendedAmazing Dr. and staff Ever since the first time I met Dr. Ross i felt very strong that I was in excellent hands. Dr. Ross is so professional, kind, caring, tried to find me referrals to assist me and guide me to get some kind of help due to my critical situation I now find myself in, he truly cares. I look forward going to my visits with Dr. Parks because he is an amazing good person. The clinic is very clean, well organized, they are always on time, I am truly impressed with this office and in particularfeel blessed being a patient of Dr. Ross. If i don't completely lose vision on the right eye as well , I thank first God and then Dr. Ross who has tried all possible to help me with the mess doctor Patel in Lake Nona did leaving me blind of my left eye after what should have been a simple cataract surgery. His manner of positivity and cheerful personality sets the tone for his whole team. Everyone is both professional and compassionate in their care. We are so happy with the results since the first moment we stepped in Florida Eye Clinic under Dr. Nguyen care and all her staff. When I took my friend to the first consultation with Myhanh T. Nguyen, M.D. we were a little bit scare of the results since the gravity of the situation, my friend was almost blind but after all the service and care we received since the first moment we arrive at the office I knew that I made a good choice; they received us with such a professionalism and attention to most minimal detail that we were really impressed. Dr. Nguyen examined her and explained to us everything in detail and very clear, what to do. She had her first surgery one month ago and today she's seeing almost perfectly from that eye even though she needs two more surgeries, we were so happy that almost started to cry but instead we felt so grateful to Dr. Nguyen because it was a very difficult surgery. RecommendedMy experience with Fl Eye clinic in Altamonte Springs Fl. was way above my expectations.....I didn't know what to expect . Corie the nurse that handled my appointment knew that my nerves were a little on edge and with a calming voice she explained everything that was going to be done with the laser treatment and I didn't feel alone....my wait was short and there were no surprises . Corie stayed with me start to finish. When I had my eye implants put in 2 years ago I was handed off person to person and if it wasn't for the pill they gave me I might of walked out. Everyone I met at Fl Eye Clinic was professional and caring . Thank you Florida Eye Clinic for great Doctor's and a great staff,,,,,

RecommendedExcellent Doctors Note: This review is for the Clermont office, but it's not on the dropdown menu. Doctor Livando (optometrist) and Dr. Shoss (surgeon) were amazing. Doctor Livando could tell that I was upset about my deteriorating eyesight in my left eye and diagnosed me with a cataract. She referred me to Dr. Shoss who worked out a treatment plan with me which included a procedure. The day of the surgery, he explained everything to me. The staff at the surgical center was awesome. I was happy with the quality of care I received from both doctors. My eyesight is now incredible. I would highly recommend Florida Eye for your eyecare needs. The staff was also very good at communicating prior to the procedure, and the scheduling process was seamless. There is a reason they are so busy, because they are good. The front staff was courteous. The only two things I think that they can improve upon is the checkout process and some of the forms need updating. There are only two staff members up front. With how busy they get, and having so many patients to check in, they should consider a dedicated checkout person, so you don't have to wait to leave. Also, the only number listed to fax pre-op information to is the surgical center. I had to call around a bit to get my primary to get the results to the right person. Other than that, great job, and I'm sorry that I didn't find them sooner.

RecommendedREVIEW FOR ALICE STERLING, O.D. I am a long term patient at FEC, Altamonte Springs. Overall, with the exception of Dr. Pappas, whom I would give 5 stars, FEC Altamonte is a madhouse. The professional standard of care is good, the staff considerate, but the practice has grown too large to best serve patients. It takes months to book an appointment, but as a result I had the pleasure of meeting: DR. ALICE STERLING, Winter Springs Dr. Sterling provides optimal care, instantly builds rapport with her patients, and is clearly knowledgeable and at the top of her field because of experience and acquired knowledge. Her pleasant manner and delightful sense of humor is one of her attributes, She is practical, and guided me to the best solution for my vision issues at the lowest cost. She made no effort to upsell me or upset me about the typical age-related issues I experience. Although it will be next year, I look forward to my next appointment with her.
